Musculoskeletal Ultrasound

    Musculoskeletal Ultrasound

Musculoskeletal ultrasound is a noninvasive procedure that uses sound waves to create real-time images. Our providers may use the ultrasound to visualize joints, soft tissue and surrounding structures within our office. Since it offers real -time images, our providers are able to visualize each structure in a resting position or with movement. Ultrasound is also used to help visualize and guide needles during joint injections or aspirations.
