    Dr. Bailey was born and raised in Georgia, graduating from Mercer University School of Medicine in 2012. Dr. Bailey has served in the United States Army, completing his internship and internal medicine training at Eisenhower Army Medical Center. At Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, he completed his rheumatology fellowship which emphasized the use of diagnostic ultrasound. Dr. Bailey practiced as a rheumatologist at Fort Belvoir Community Hospital for three years before finishing his military service and being honorably discharged in 2021. He is board-certified in both internal medicine and rheumatology. Dr. Bailey joined Arthritis and Osteoporosis Center of Northern Virginia in 2021. He practices adult rheumatology and regularly manages diseases which include: rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, systemic lupus and connective tissue disorders, Raynaud’s phenomenon, gout, osteoporosis and other rheumatic diseases. Dr. Bailey is a member of the American College of Rheumatology, American College of Physicians, American Medical Association, and Appalachian Center of Wilderness Medicine.
