Dr. Scaperotti grew up in New York, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in biology from Cornell University, and a medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine with a distinction in research. She moved to the Washington, D.C. area in 2016 to complete her residency in internal medicine at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital. She stayed at Georgetown to complete a fellowship in rheumatology.  

It is a pleasure and privilege for Dr. Scaperotti to get to know her patients, and to treat their arthritis and autoimmune diseases. She is committed to thoroughly addressing rheumatic disease within the scope of a patient’s overall health. She is a general rheumatologist who treats rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, systemic lupus erythematosus, gout and osteoarthritis, among others.
